I completed the job all by myself (!) without anyone’s help. It’s high quality and not weak in any way. Hard to imagine it wearing out unless the “nut” in the the is so corroded and stuck that you gorilla the tool beyond imagination. The tool they sell is not &^^& and you get a small discount if you order it with a seal kit. Holly took my order and even checked and snagged a tin of pellets to make sure I got them, because they were down to two in stock. I called to place the order to make sure they had it in stock. He shares a lot of info here on GTA but I was discouraged from attempting a reseal.Ĭalled Baker Airguns next because they seemed to have the kit and tool for sale, and because I needed pellets.
He cares so much that he was very concerned about my ability to reseal the rifle by myself, because people screw it up and ruin these old rifles. Kind of hard to follow, but he made it clear that he had been torqued around, unfairly and inappropriately, and hasn’t and won’t ever forget It. He seems to know more than anybody, and is quite angry about being treated very poorly in the past. Mostly about his love of the rifles and craftsmanship. Seems making and selling the tool isn’t something he wants to do. He doesn’t sell the tool and says that the ones being made that are for sale are &^^& and will only last for one or two reseals. The Mac1 stuff is supposed to be good, and I called him first.
